You're really good at creating a tone almost like written words with the colors you use in these paintings of yours. I can almost hear the wind.

What I've observed in your paintings already is that you have this particular way of painting details that I'm not accustomed to seeing; it's kind of sharp and blurred at the same time. I really like that. Another thing I really love is the sky-- those darker clouds actually feel like they're right over your head, somehow. The sky here in Louisiana looks like that a lot, so it actually feels like I'm somewhere at home that I've never been.
